TIME Language Centre is a language learning and consultancy centre based in Padang, West Sumatera. With more than 5 years experience in developing education in West Sumatera, we have had an amazing journey coming to where we are today, and now we feel more confident to improve the quality of education in Indonesia.

B. Our Programs

1. Online and Offline Classes

a. IELTS Preparation Class

IELTS Preparation Class aims to prepare student who plan to take an official IELTS test. Generally, these student plan to work overseas or continue their study to universities which require IELTS certificate. The class consists of 20 meetings covering all skill of IELTS i.e. Listening, Reading, Writing and Speaking. During the lesson, the student will be provided with learning materials including handout in each meeting, strategies in understanding different types of question, tips in mastering IELTS full practices, and one-on-one feedback from tutors, After completing the 20 meetings, the students will be given IELTS simulations to prepare them before the official test.

b. TOEFL Preparation Class

Serving as one of the most popular standardised English tests used for university entrance and job application requirement, TOEFL learning is reasonably on demand in Indonesia. Therefore, this TOEFL class is here aims at developing their score in paper- based TOEFL, covering three skills (Listening Comprehension, Structure and Written Expression, and Reading Comprehension). In this class, during the 20 meetings, the students will learn complete strategies to achieve higher score in TOEFL with variety of practices and exercises.

c. TOEIC Preparation Class

TIME has been committing to improve English language proficiency level of people of West Sumatra through actively conducting English training, seminar, and webinar. TIME is expanding its network to develop the quality of its services by building and maintaining partnerships with reputable and internationally recognised English testing centres. TOEIC Preparation Class at TIME Language Centre offers for both of online and offline classes, and conducted in either regular or private class. TOEIC Preparation class aims to prepare students who plan to take an official TOEIC test. The class consists of 20 meetings covering all skills of TOEIC skills i.e. Listening and Reading. During teaching, the students will be provided with learning materials including handout in each meeting, strategies in understanding different type of questions, tips in mastering TOEIC, practices. After completing the 20 meetings, the students will be given TOEIC simulations to prepare them before the official test.

d. English for Specific Purposes

This service addresses particular group of students with specific needs in learning English. The meetings are administered to help students master English related to their respective professions or interests. This includes English for Nursing, English for Tourism, English for Engineering, etc. In addition, the materials are specifically designed in accordance with student's English level.

e. General English

This class is suitable for those who are new to English or those who want to learn English from the very basic. The aim of this class is to prepare the students to use English as a means of communication. It consists of four levels; preliminary, beginner, intermediate, and advanced. Placement test will be conducted before the students join the class, so they will be placed according their current level of English. This class covers basic English lessons which comprise Vocabulary, Grammar and Structure, Reading, Listening, Writing, and, Speaking. The learning materials are designed interactively according to the level, and classroom interaction is emphasised to boost students’ performance in communicating in English.

f. English for Kids

This is a fun English lesson specially intended for young learners. The materials and learning activities are designed targeting the needs of the children to learn English in a fun and interactive ways. This class also runs for 20 meetings but the lesson format is usually set rather different from other class in order to suit the learning style of the young learners.

g. Masters Coaching

This class aims at assisting students for master's degree preparation which is conducted online and offline. The course offered by integrating learning materials and consultation. The learning materials includes hands-on writing of CV, essays, and motivation letter, as well as documents proofreading. The consultation covers campus guide, study plan, and scholarship application troubleshooting. This complete package offered and opened to all students who plan to pursue a Master's degree abroad or in Indonesia. This program helps participants to achieve their goals and to produce high quality human capital.

h. PhD Coaching

Similar to masters coaching, PhD coaching is offered both online and offline. It is a preparation class for students who plan to continue their study to PhD program. The material includes campus, study, and scholarship guides; hands-on research proposal , essays, motivation letter, and CV writing; study plan, essays and proposal proofreading; one-on-one comprehensive feedback. This complete package offered and opened to all participants who plan to pursue a doctoral degree overseas or in Indonesia.

2. Regular Program

Apart from the regular classes, Time Language Centre also offers various programs which are open to public to support the diverse needs of

a. Prime Time

Prime Time is a regular and intimate program run by Time Language Centre in the form of mini talk show or sharing session, covering various themes related to study, work and career path. This program is available both online and offline. It is open for public, mostly free of charge. It is held once a month. Until now, PRIME TIME has invited many speakers and embraced society to share and gain information such as scholarships, essay tips, all about work and holiday visa program to Australia, and how

b. TOEFL Workshop

This workshop aims to help students to gain higher score in TOEFL. This workshop normally runs for two days. During the full-day workshop, the students will be equipped with general understanding on TOEFL and the question types, quick hacks to tackle the questions and there will be full prediction test on the second day.

c. IELTS Workshop

Similar with the TOEFL workshop, this workshop is a two-days intensive program helping the participants to familiarize themselves with different types of questions in IELTS and how to get high band score, along with the practice and simulation test. This workshop suits the participants who are unable to join the regular class. The first day will be full lesson of IELTS with the tips and hacks in answering IELTS questions and then followed by full IELTS simulation test on the second day

3. Project Collaboration

Apart from the regular classes, Time Language Centre also offers various programs which are open to public to support the diverse needs of

a.Graduate Employability

Graduate employability seminar is a collaboration project between TIME Language Centre and university student organisations aims at preparing graduates’ readiness to address changing demands of national and global job market. The participants are provided with valuable information and guides to improve their skills, both hard and soft skills while designing their career blueprint during and after college. It is expected that after joining the program participants have a clear understanding and optimal preparation in chasing their future career.

b. IELTS X University

IELTS X University is a project collaboration between TIME Language Centre and University student organisations aims at facilitating students to be familiar with IELTS ( International English Language Testing System) through workshop and simulation test. This project is open to all universities, for both public and private, to collaborate with TIME Language Centre. The IELTS workshop and simulation are conducted for two to three days. IELTS consultation covering wide range of information and guidelines are also provided on the spot.

c. TOEFL Collaboration Project

Similar to IELTS x University, TOEFL (Test of English as a Foreign Language) collaborative project is also a reguler project between TIME Language Centre and collaborators in West Sumatra. Besides collaboration with universities, its scope is wider as this project also reaches English teachers and schools. This project provides workshop, TOEFL handout, and TOEFL prediction test. The duration is flexible and customised upon requests.

4. Other Service

a.Document and Article

TIME Language Centre offers language translation service from Bahasa Indonesia to English; English to Bahasa Indonesia for all documents including birth certificate, academic document, abstract, articles, etc. We translate articles of various study fields and backgrounds such as economics, linguistics, medical, and engineering. We have provided quality translation service for over 4 years.

b. Essay and Article Proofreading

TIME Language Centre offers proofreading and editing service for study-related documents, thesis, paper and dissertation, article, essay, or other scietific documents. Our team will help you to cope with errors and mistakes in writing.

c.Australian Visa

For those who wish to visit Australia, TIME Language Centre also provides Australian visa application service in Indonesia. All applicants intending to apply are required to prepare the documents, and all documents must be in English.

d.LoA Service to Europe & Australia

TIME Language Centre also provides the LoA (Letter of Acceptance) service to universities in Europe countries and Australia. Besides consultation, the process of campus application as well as scholarship application will be assisted.

C. Meet The Team

1. Founder

Melqi Hamdani graduated from Andalas University Padang majoring in Industrial Engineering and has experienced in marketing in Indonesia for more than six years, and has worked overseas for seven years. As the founder and as a senior consultant at TIME Language Centre he has coached many graduates and

2. Co-Founder

Desmaizayatri completed her Master's and Doctoral degree at Monash University, Australia. She is an LPDP scholarship alumna specialises in Education, Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages (TESOL). She has experienced in English language teaching for 16 years. As the senior English trainer at TIME Language Centre, she is responsible for designing and developing the learning and teaching materials, as well as becomes a coach for IELTS and PhD preparation classes. As the co-founder of TIME language centre, she is also in charge for monitoring and evaluating teaching staff professional development, and providing education consultancy.

3. Tutor

Ahmad Syukri completed his education in Masters of Education from The University of Adelaide, Australia, funded by LPDP Scholarship. He is acting as an English tutor who is in charge in teaching English for various levels and preparation classes for TOEFL, TOEIC and IELTS.
